Felix Valencia is noted to be one of the premier Martial Arts and Law Enforcement edged weapons training specialists in the country. He has provided defensive tactics training to numerous law enforcement agencies, knife companies, and firearm/weapons schools.

Felix’s background includes training in: Pencak Silat (Muade Muda), Lameco Eskrima, Muay Thai, Shooto Wrestling/Boxing, and Hawaiian Lua.

With the fact that an average citizen can carry a pocketknife, Felix’s main goal is to simulate real life knife attacks, taking control of the situation, and how to react tactically. He will introduce the breakdown of the knife: blade and handle. Also, what to look for in a real knife fighter, where a suspect may hide a weapon, and improvised weapons (pens, handkerchiefs and belts).

Recommended attire: two t-Shirts, two pair of shorts or sweat pants (You will sweat a lot). Bring plenty of water.

I just wanted to say that the seminar was awesome. If you ever get the chance to see Felix in action, please do so. The man is incredible.
