To Whom It May Concern:

It gives me great pleasure to introduce to you a fund raising event that makes a difference in so many peoples lives. Z.I.A.D. Healthcare for the Underserved, Inc. a 501c3 helps so many with needed primary health care services and referral. Last year Z.I.A.D. healthcare helped over 6,000 persons and referred countless others to other resources. Their web site is www.ziadhealthcare.org.

Did you know? 44,000,000 persons in America are uninsured

Ø 8 out of 10 were in working families. In most cases, the main earners in these families either had jobs that offered no health coverage or their premiums were unaffordable.

Ø Among children under 18, 13.6 percent or 9.8 million, were uninsured in the first half of 2003

Ø Young adults 19-24 years of age are more likely than other age groups to be uninsured. Almost a third (32 percent) were uninsured in the first half of 2003

On March 5 &6 2005 the World Martial Arts College will host the “Battle of Detroit” and Stars for Charity event. We have some great stars lining up to be there in support of this function. Judson Scott—in Wrath of Khan- Star Trek, Charmed, X- Files, Blade, Fugitive, Dukes of Hazard, General Hospital will be there. Virginia Hey with major roles in Mad Max 2, Mission Impossible, Farscape, Flipper and countless other movies will be there to sign autographs and have pictures taken with spectators. Raye Hollitt “Zap” American Gladiator and Bay Watch Girl, Alana Curry-Terminator 3, Beverly Hills 90210, Bold & the Beautiful, Johnny Whitaker in Family Affair, and Bewitch,

Robert Rasner- Saved by the Bell, Full house, The Marshal , Shihan Demura besides teaching Karate, Mr. Demura is the stunt man for Pat Morita in the Karate Kid series of motion pictures, as well in the O'Hara television series. His other film credits include, Island of Dr. Moreau, Bring 'Em back alive, and most recently Rising Sun and Mortal Kombat. Vera Vanguard the Warrior Mistress and Laura Croft stunt double, Benjamin Kil junior actor, Sifu Redmond and Sifu Cao, Richard Plowden and many other stars will be there.

We have tentative commitments from TJ Storm star in Mortal Combat, Leila Ali Boxer and daughter of Mohamed Ali, Stephanie Cheeva in the Exorcist, Matthias Hue in Dark Angel,.

Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick has agreed to be there and open the ceremony that will host Michigan and Detroit areas largest championship. It will be full of excitement and action as we host the World Martial Arts Open Championship 2005 “Battle of Detroit” at the University of Michigan Dearborn Field House. Voted “Best Run Tournament in Midwest”

A portion of every ticket sold will go to charity Z.I.A.D. Healthcare for the Underserved.
