Sammo Hung's The Victim - 07/19/06 06:59 AM

Has anyone seen this tradtional Kungfu film? Heres the final fights, they look like top notch traditional Kungfu action, especially when up aginst the multiple opponents. LOL at the comical footwork too.

Awesome.

Sammo and Jackie walked into a bar. The bar exploded as it could not contain that level of awesomeness. ^_^

Haven't seen that one, but it's awesome! Old school kung fu movies will always be more fun than newer ones. Although, I noticed the thugs in this were similar to the Axe Gang in Kung Fu Hustle.

Well often, newer movies are just conglomerates of old classics. For instance, Kill Bill is a few old Kungfu and samurai flicks welded together, even the fundamental story of the bride seeking vengeance has been lifted from elsewhere. The most obvious take is the restaurant fight being terribly similar to Bruce Lee taking out the Japanese dojo in Fist of Fury. The Oren fight also has some aspects from that film.
