BJ Penn's MMA Book of knowledge - 06/25/08 11:30 AM

Just got this in today. I will post a review after I take a look thorugh it. BJ's website has a lot of good info, so I think the book should be good.

Ok, had a chance to check it through. Looks like I got my money's worth. Lots of techniques, broken down into different sections (clinch, using the ring, ground positions and submissions, etc). Good detail in the techique descriptions, and photographed from multiple angles, so understanding the progression of each move is good. As Brian wrote, the techniques vary from basic to pretty advanced.

I did note some printing errors on a few pages (offset color plates and text), but that is not BJ's fault.

Overall, a recommended purchase.

This book is amazing. Its one of those where, if you only have the money to purchase one book, this is the one to get.
