Why so few books about boxing? - 11/13/05 01:42 PM

Every time a go into a bookstore, I notice a huge number of books dealing with Asian martial arts. However, there seem to be relatively few books deveoted to boxing. In addition, most books on boxing are not instructional; they have more to do with the history of boxing, profiles of great fighters, and so on. Anyone have an idea why this might be?

Hmm, good question. I think geoff Thompson has done a couple and I once read a wonderful review of an in-depth work by Jack Dempsey. Apparently it really is a must if you are into boxing.
