Shotokan Karate - A Precise History by Harry Cook - 11/28/04 10:56 AM

Anyone read this title? What did you think?

I'm thinking of purchasing a copy for Dad/Sensei for Christmas. It's a beautiful book and, based on the reviews, it promises to be quite an interesting read, but at $75 a copy, I was hoping for a little more personal feedback.

Thanks,

David

mrhubbs,
I own the book and recommend it highly.
It is well researched, and well made. It has an impressive number of photos. I consider it to be thoughtful and well balanced it it's presentation of historocal topics. It is pricey but I believe it is worth the price and a great gift. I think my son is getting me beef jerky for Christmas.
