Absolutely love the book. Very interesting look into the training routines of the late martial artist.

I have not read this one yet. Is it that good? Little makes mention of the 'expression of the body' in his Jeet Kune Do compilation which is a companion volume to this book. Without having read it, and going by the title; I use the phrase to convey to others what the 'art' of martial arts is. In spite of your style, the preferred techniques you employ and the way you practice them say something about you as a practitioner. No 2 people should perform alike, we are not robots and this 'expression' by means of martial combative moves is not that far removed from the 'expressive' moves of a dancer, or the images created by a painter, or the notes composed by a songwriter. It is simply the art form and the way we convey our creativity.
