Thus far I have seen 3 versions (not counting the Chinese edition witch is something completely different.

Patrick Mcarthy
George Alexander
Rand Cardwell

I have Mcarthys book, but I think I’m going to have to get the one by George Alexander, its reputably more accurate. (Having consulted several Japanese scholars, I know some of Mcarthys translation, is somewhat off. I had it checked, because I thought some of the language was a bit to influenced, by western concepts, and seemed out of place) I don’t know anything about Rand Cardwell's version. I have heard it’s synthesized from the 2 other books.

I would like to hear from you MA scholars out there, who have read both Mcarthy and Alexander’s version. What’s the difference between the 2 books? what has been added and what is missing from either?
