Hi
Sada Kazu Uyenishi came to the UK in 1899 to assist Yukio Tani demonstrating Ju jitsu under the management of Barton-Wright. Later to be managed by William Bankier (stage name Apollo) Look out for "Jiu Jitsu What It Really Is" written by Bankier, extremely rare features both Uyenishi & Tani. "The Fine Art Of Jujutsu" by Mrs Roger Watts she was a student of Uyenishi, he once again is fatured in book, another extremely rare book
The Uyenishi book is not at all rare, although one of my favourites, originally published by Health & Strength publication, olive green cover with photo of Uyenishi inset, one futher reprint. Nine reprints by Athletic publications 1910 to 1959.

Thanks Steve,
It's nice to know a bit of its history. The copy I have is olive green, but not by that publisher.
It is a fantastic book with some brilliant language and has gone to the top of the 'coffee table books'.
Thank you again
