Was wondering if anyone can recommend a good Aikido book. I find myself forgetting techniques, so I am looking for a book about techniques with pics and explanation. Not just one that gives vague descriptions but one that I can read and think, I'll try adding that on to what I do...

Aikido and the dynamic sphere
by A. Westbrook and O. Ratti
This book is written as an illustrated introduction to Aikido and contains some several hundred beautiful drawings illustrating technique. This book got me interested in Aikido not so much because of what was written in it, but more because of the love which had obviously gone into producing it. Many people critisice this book but it will serve you well as a reference point to techniques as there are many illustrated including Ikkyo, Nikkyo etc...It is widely available I picked up my copy in a standard second hand bookstore under sports so there is a good possibility you can grab a copy second hand.
