Greetings to all Aikidokas!

I am a student in aikido and has been practicing for quite sometime now.They say that our dojo is affiliated in japan but i did not see its name on the list.

Well, actually our real problem is no one here has achieved a 1st degree blackbelt except one person who was promoted due to his propagation here in cebu philippines and is very old now.

Many have been practicing for 30 years now and they are still brown belts.

Our plead is this, is there anyone who are willing to be merciful enough to upgrade us here so as to learn more about it and be guided accordingly along the way.

What style of aikido are you learning?

Remember, you don't have to be a Black Belt to learn or move along a path. I was a brown belt for 8 years, and was a damn good one. Sometimes it's better being an excellent brown belt, than an average Black Belt. Train hard, be humble, and find your path. You don't need to be prmoted to do that, However, if you don't mind spending money to get affliated you can try Satome Sensei in Washington D.C. USA or another one is Yamada Sensei in New York City USA
