Our schools Jr.Forms team placed as finalists
and one of our Jr. BB'S in the 12-13 Y/O division took the Gold(32 competitors in the division one of which is the other team mate on the forms team). They did us proud.

Congrats! We had a team go down as well this year. I believe they came back with two silvers and a bronze. 7000 competitors I hear this year! I am hoping to go again next year. I went back in 2004 and had a blast.

I don't think that there was 7000. They typically get about 2500, they said there was a 16% increase from last year but it was in Ft. Lauderdale this year versus Madison, WI last year. Easy to see why there was such a large increase, but I don't think it was 7000.

Shrug, that was the number I was told, and they were just passing on the number they were told when they weighed in. I know there was around 2500 when I was down there 5 years ago, which was also in Ft. Lauderdale and they said there were considerably more people there this year.

Spoke with Mr. Friello's right hand man. the number is between 1900-2000 competitors.

It was a lot of competitors this year. Mind you it was my 1st year. I went with my boyfriend's family. Him and his mom are officials. I got to go with them even to the official's party on a yacht. I was shocked. Also, we had 2 people who made it to team trials. Woohoo!
