Now you've gone and done it. You've stretch the screen as far to the right as you could just because you fell asleep on your keyboard.

I think for the Olympics they should hide the clocks. Neither competitor nor coach should know how much time is left in the round. This way the competitors wont run around so much trying to kill seconds just becuase they are in the lead. This part of sports tkd strategy I really despise. Let those cats fight it out till the end.

women's curling (or men's, if you watch it) is best viewed from behind

You say that, but Karate missed out by two votes. Who knows what the future holds?

Personally, I am glad to see that the modern games are still quite martial. Tae Kwon Do, Judo, Boxing, Wrestling ,Wushu (2008 at least) Archery, Shooting, Fencing....

ridiculous, I'm sure over all that more countries practice karate than TKD. Why not let it in?

I thought quite the opposite was true. With the WTF being so large and the ITF being no slouch in its membership populace and offshoot orgs like the GTF,ATA,AIMMA and the likes. I was under the impression that TKD was the most practiced MA in the world. Am I wrong ?

I don't think you're wrong but who knows for sure. I do know years ago my Instructor fought in Japan with the Canadian Fighting Team. Japan ain't no Korea and it was Taekwondo World Games not the Karate World Games.

Doesn't matter I'm just psyched that two friends of mine will try to compete for a spot on the US Olympic team.
