That ALL of the governing bodies are corrupt and the art, in a competitive aspect, has boiled down to who you know and how well they can like you for how long they can like you.
Maybe I am just old and jaded LOL

whenever i spar with th redbelt (im 6th kyu equivelent) that if i move into trapping range i can bring down his gaurd
also leg kicks work in two ways taking out the leg and bring down the gaurd to block so you can throw a punch combo to face
i mean i learned these on my own but im doing tae kwon do so they count right?

How to recognise, give and recieve respect. Honour and confidense in ones self. How to block out all the bad things and concentrate on the task at hand. And on a little less serious note, guys are a whole lot cooler than girls.
To those of you who posted positive things taught to you by your study of tkd I have one question:
Why do you care when some ignorant jackass calls tkd worthless or useless?
Haven't you already proved them wrong?
