why go? is it full contact? even if it was would it compare to what your training is really for? i would like to start a no holds barred competition for tkd and karate. i wonder how many "fighters"would show up. shame all this sport but no real athletes.

AAU TKD (former Association Chairman) has two types of sparring.

Point whose rules are close to open and karate tournaments which are stop after each point and have hands to the head (no groin, pity). Techniques are supposed to be controlled.

Olympic style which is non-stop full-contact with no hands to the head. Scoring is based on knockout or delivering a trembling shock (although I think this has been reworded since lightweights and kids often cannot deliver trembling shock...).

Oh yeah, forms...

I don't do a lot of tournaments anymore, so I won't be there. It's expensive, grueling, and takes time away from my rapidly growing daughter.

I will show those reality fighters after Ik slows them down by repeatedly kicking them in the shins. lol Ik what is your fascination with the balls? Most people quit kicking in the balls in like the fourth grade.
