Capturing video from a DVD - 10/04/06 11:13 AM

Can't seem to figure out how to do it. My work computer has a "movie maker" function, but does not seem to have an option to pull it from DVDs. Anybody have an idea how that works?

well, Matt WOULD'VE had one if I had pulled thru for him....

one other way that I've used: get a video capture card/kit. pretty much record anything with RCA output. I've used it to convert VHS to Mpeg.

No problem, Ed. I think I may try to download one. I'm just leary of doing that for picking up a virus. I have virus protection and all, but it would be my luck. That's why I was trying to actually go out and buy one.

Went out and purchased a DVD ripper program. But it refuses to install on my computer. It did give me a nice little warning - in German.

Is it fair to say you were ripped off?

Eyrie is strangly quiet though.
