Resource for (some) basic Q&A FAQ - 07/19/05 12:02 AM

Here is a fairly new resource that follows the same concept of information democracy that Wikipedia imploys, but with different options and in a Q&A format some may prefer (this one has a voting/grading mechanism so you can kind of gage the accuracy or level of certainty on a particular answer).
Here is the MA section:

The MA info is pretty fragmented and incomplete right now, but keep in mind, these grow over time.
For what it's worth.

p.s. It would be interesting if we had a voting mechanism for each other's posts (not just topics) on this forum...the best answers of everyone's post given a particular topic would bubble to the surface leaving a person doing research to find he best info quicker. just a thought for improvement.

You could request that moderators actually 'work' the material in the threads. Edit the best into a pinned faq at the top of the forum.

It would certainly cut down on the offers to moderate.

good idea , but very time consuming for the mods. also, I don't think everyone 100% agrees with 100% of all the mods moods all of the time.

You got that right.
