Knuckle Push Ups

Knuckle Push Ups - 10/05/04 10:24 PM

I am male, 43 years old, I started Karate 4 months ago, and have been doing bare knuckle push ups on the wooden floor (as you do) since day one. 2 days ago after training I noticed when I move my fingers the two outer knuckles on my right hand were grating, like they were rubbing together. I have done knuckle push ups since then to see if it aggravated those knuckles and it did, to the point where the knuckles feel like they are grating together quite badly. Has anyone out there experienced this, is there a way I can avoid it without stopping doing the knuckle push ups?

Hi
When training it is obvious that you may take many injuries during the course of it but what I suggest you should do is to see a doctor to get it checked out and let him give u the ok on continuing ure training
