Hi,
I am an Orange Belt in Judo and haven't done it for a while and am going to start again. I learned in a Korean dojo, thus, the names of the moves/techniques are all new to me. The master was a 9th dan who taught the gold medal winner in Judo from Korea (I think in Los Angeles '84). The class was taught in a Randori style and very little English was used. Thus, I have not learned the "official names" of the technques, Will I be at a huge disadvantage going to a Japanese Dojo?
Does anyone else have a similar experience to share? Thanks!
