stomach area - 04/23/05 09:22 AM

hi ive been doing crunches for the past year and ive got quite hard abdominal muscles underneath now. only problem is i cant see them because of a thin layer of fat. im not overweight so the layer of fat is not thick but its thick enough to cover my ab muscles. so if anyone could recommend a diet for me to take id be very greateful.
cheers.
p.s. i train for boxing so if you could think up a diet that would benifit that also that would be great cheers

Hey,
i had the same problem, like well strong abs but hardly any definition. I recently ran the London Marathon, which required a lot of aerobic training, like running and, a lot less anaerobic training, like weights, but this gave me alot of tone and definition.
So in answer to your question, you might want to start running for short to medium distances(5k-10k) as this will get rid of alot of fat, but at the consequence of losing a bit of bulk, where the fat has been taken away from your arms and shoulders.
Hope this was some help to you.
