Skin flaking

Skin flaking - 10/22/06 01:40 AM

Recently, I've had a lot of skin flaking off my right hand. It is not painful or anything, so is this usual, given that I'm trying to work on a planche and generally doing a few exercises which load my hand on the palm. However, this skin flakes off later and not always just during the exercise.

Could this be some sort of nutritional problem?

If it were nutritional, you would have experienced the same symptoms elsewhere on your body. It could be some sort of a fungus or local baddie causing the trouble. Have it checked out by your alternative - or mainstream health practitioner.

Hope it gets better soon.

I'm not sure what you mean - is your skin flaking from the palm or from the top of your hand?

You may be allergic to something your skin is coming in contact with. But do see a doctor about it.

The upper part of the palm of the hand.

Though, I think I will go see a doctor.
