hakama creases are very very annoying
ive heard of people sewing them together
is this practical and if it is, which parts are sewn?

I have made a couple of pairs of hakamas, Once I experimented in sweing the 5 main pleats, like they do at e-bogu.com It only works if you sew it before putting it together or you'll most likely screw up the pleats. Check that site out, they have close up pictures of the sewing.

Folding and keeping the pleats is what I don't look foward to after training or fold up to put in my bag on the way to class. But I do think that the pleats look nice and the hakama as a whole when worn is a graceful appearance.
