what is the difference between kumdo and kendo besides the fact that kumdo is korean and kendo is japanese. are there some different moves or something

that thread pertains to haidong gumdo, which is significantly different from kumdo or kendo.

kumdo and kendo are the same. the only variations you'll find are the variations you'd find between all schools. every master teaches and interprets differently. the people keep promoting that there is a difference are the ones who are looking to create a greater rift between korea and japan.
