Hi!
I'm somewhat new to sword fighting and i got a bokken for chritmas. I was wondering wether or not to start practicing kendo or iaido. I am interested in both and was wondering if anyone could tell me if a 15 year old like me could do eather.

thank you for your input !

First step would be to find out what's available in your area, that could really narrow down your choices.

Your age shouldn't prevent you from doing kendo or iaido. In Japan kendo is a regular part of the average school's athletic program. Iaido generally appeals to an older crowd, but it is not unheard of for people your age to study it.

As yen said, the first step is always to find out what's available in your area.
