Sure. Where are you from? Try searching Google for "Kendo Schools in (enter your city/state here)"

That's what I did. Or, go to a local martial arts academy/school, and ask the instructor if he knows of anyplace nearby. They definately would know.

EDIT: Oh, try the phone book too.

Seems like I've heard of stuff in Denver, but I can remember any details. I'd suggest heading over to http://www.e-budo.com and http://www.swordforum.com When you get to either make use of the search function to search for the terms "Denver Iaido Kendo Kenjutsu"

That should turn up the training oppurtunities in your area.

If you decide to post on either of those forums, be sure to sign your real name in all posts. It's a rule on both forums and they will ignore your posts if you don't. After a warning or two a moderator will ban you.

I'd also recommend not bringing up the Rurouni Kenshin references. It's something of a sore subject for a lot of the koryu sword guys who are getting tired of fanboys who can't tell the difference between reality and fantasy. Not saying you're one of them mind. I'm a fan of the show myself.
