Where can i buy a good sword for under 500 dollars that isnt made out of zinc/aluminum? That is actually made for cutting thanks in advance

Well. Depends. What kind of cutting do you do and how good at it are you? The better you are, the less forgiving sword you need. If you're just starting then you want a sword that isn't gonna break on a bad cut leaving the business end free to stab you in the leg.

For that budget (I assume that that's American, because you can get nothing if that number is in Canadian or Australian dollars), I have heard reasonably good reviews of Starfire swords and The Paul Chen Practical line

However, neither of those are actually designed for real cutting or combat. If you really want to get a sword, wait, save double that amount, and get a good quality one, either a Bugei or Swordstore blade for traditional Japanese weapons, or an Angelsword for Western, Chinese, and non-traditionally mounted Japanese blades.
