LOL great idea boken he should join woodshop instead of MA. Just kidding. Why don't you just buy a cheap pair of aluminum ones? They aren't sharp anyway and go for about $14-$20 so they would cost about the same as wood. Unless you need or want wood for some reason. I googled it and looked through a few pages but couldn't find any and that's frustrating because I think I saw them somewhere w/ wooden training Kamas. If I find them I'll let you know.

Sorry man but I'm finished looking for this. The closest I found was/were rubber sai. I found them on Ebay but you can find them in other places too. Here's the auction if you are intersted:
