can someone help explain the key differences between batto ho and iai, i have a little experience with iaido. any help is much appreciated

Over the years at various Iaido seminars I have been exposed to examples of ZNKR (a Kendo offshoot) and non-ZNKR versions of Muso Shinden, Muso Jikiden and even the admixture of Aikido. In each the details of footwork, body position and kata differ.

I have watched several examples on YouTube, but could have missed some important ones. From the various videos the main difference I did notice between Batto Ho and Iaido (Omori ryu) was that Batto Ho was performed standing (tachi no bu).
