It is most definitely not kenjutsu or traditional sword work by any measure. It's called chanbara. It's a very sportified version of sword play. Looks like a lot of fun and excellent exercise, but it is not kenjutsu.

Nope. I'm training up in Denton at John Ray's MJER dojo. We are not part of the Kendo Renmei, but rather directly under the MJER soke's organization.
