japanese-style swords - 05/13/05 06:14 PM

yeah, so i've heard the name howard clark recently.
seems he makes japanese style swords. not japanese katana's, but only styled after them.
seems that by not adhering to the strict traditions of forging a katana he can make them stand up to a lot of abuse...:http://swordforum.com/summer99/howardclark.html

i'm wondering if anyone has one of these bad boys, or has seen one.
can anyone attest to their quality?

thanks for your time.

wow. thanks a million for that info. That is exactly what I am looking for. I will email him a link to my website and ask him if he will issue a warraty for the type of practice I do. If he does, I shall be ordering one of his swords soon and reviewing it on my website. You can check out what I do here:

Howard Clark is a very respected name in swordsmithing. I normally don't care much for katana, but if I was going to get one, I would be looking at his.
