Why isn't there an avatar option on these forums? Does anyone else wish there was?

NO NO NO NO NO, do not bring in avatars at all, not everyone here can afford broadband, i mean yes it might be limited to 50kb pictures but still, think about that wen i open a page with 90 people responding, thats 90x50..it will take a while, my internet when capped has trouble opening all the replys in a topic at once already without many pictues...

and also post counters are bad, they only incourage people to "post whore" and brings in alot of useless replys just so people can have a high post count..
an example of this is http://www.nissansilvia.com

ive only just found that site and think its great because without avatars and post counts it discourages stupid.

I agree with Hazard, keep avatars and post counters out. Not be mean, but the people who tend to like avatars are also the ones who start threads like "Could Jet Li beat Bruce Lee?" and "ninjas are awesome death-dealers,dude."

Please keep avatars and counters off this site.
