KARATE BOARD

this is just an opinion and a friendly suggestion but i feel that a whole board dedicated to Karate is a good idea, i feel that there should also be a board for kung-fu.

there are many styles to talk about and i feel that more members train in Karate & Kung Fu, than Daito Ryu

I'd rather not compartmentalize any further, James. I want to hear totally different perspectives on our karate techniques, even if we disagree.

I think it is better with karate, along with the other striking arts being posted on the martial arts board. Like ironfoot says you get different perspectives.


Karate is made up of
basic techniques (post on martial arts talk and gain perspective from boxers, kung fu, mauy tai etc;
sparring (post on practice/ompetition fighting)
kata (post on kata and application)

With those three plus the self defence section I think it's pretty much covered personally.
