Does anyone... - 07/01/03 02:49 PM

Ever take any notice of any of the suggestions put forward here? None of them seem to have been acted upon.

Good point.

It would be nice to know whether the suggestions are being acted on or if not, why not.

Do you suppose there would be any point to a suggestion that the site designers read the suggestions board?

You could try.

It's got to be better than the drivel that has been posted on other forums....

Perhaps thats why they don't make it this far. They fall asleep. Or lose the will to live. Or something....

LOL. I know how they feel!!

I've come to the conclusion that this site is just a placebo (Is that the right word? I would hate to think I'd got it confused with one of them wooden summer house things ).

Cato, I'm surprised that you guys up there get a summer to have one of those wooden things in.

I wonder if I shout they'll hear me?

C'MON GUYS ~ GIVE US A CLUE!!

Ho hum.

Perhaps I should try a sit in protest?

But I suppose that nasty Mr. V would come chuck me out.....

BTW my dearly beloved has joined the boys (and girls) in blue.

Try sending an e-mail about this to Mr. Caile or whoever the heck is in charge here. This might work:

Juds, tell your dearly beloved "good luck" from me, and to watch out for the "low ballers" at training school. S/he will know what I mean.

I wonder if we make a suggestion that is beneficial to the powers that be, like, say, everybody has to give them a tenner, whether they'll see that one?

I have a gran who is deaf unless you ask if she wants a cup of tea. You can whisper it from across the room and she hears you, but ask if you can turn "Corrie" over and no chance, she becomes deaf as a post.

xerxes - technology isn't my thing mate so I realise it could be me, but I couldn't get that link to work. Does this mean that I'm just a gullible fool for trying?

I'm off now to lie in the (northern) sun in my shed and top up my Glasgow style tan. It's almost 15 degrees out there today, so I'm a bit worried about melting but what the heck, you only live once.

Cato,

I should have explained better. That is not a link to a website, that is an e-mail address. Send them an e-mail with your complaints about the site. They may not take the time to read the posts on the "suggestions" forum but they probably read their e-mail on a regular basis. Much better chance of contacting them.

Thanks, like I said - I don't really do technology.

I suspect I have more chance of contacting my dear departed gran on the "other side" than I have of getting through to the powers that be on this site, but I'll give it a go anyway. You never know...

We do read the site suggestions, and we thank those who post them, but we do not look them over on a regular basis. We do note, however, interest in certain areas or in new forums, but we want to be sure that interest is more than just a few individuals. The successful forums on this site have a lot of particpants and we want to be sure new forums do too. If you have suggestions write to Feedback@FightingArts.com and I will see it.

Okay, I accept I may have been unfair to you, and you obviously do read this forum, albeit somewhat infrequently !! Now, how about a new site specifically for people who only want to agree with me and tell how good I am...
