Could you put up a restriction that all people who join the board must post their first post in something like the introduction thread or on a particular board before they have the right to go anywhere else? If possible, that could at least force the spammers to go to one place.

ya know, i have seen those soo many times I became oblivious to them. It was before I saw your response that I hovered and saw it. D'oh...

I went through the Registration Queue and pre-emptively declined a ton of accounts that were suspicious, or obvious spammers.

For instance, no one with the screen name "loxivqqrtkkjw" is getting on this board, and neither is "SexyTeenPorn".

Do you think the ban powers could be distributed more freely specifically for spammers? Then they may not have a chance to jack up the whole forum before somebody notices that can do something.
