Not like it's replacing anything, it's just a supplement for the guards.
If used properly I don't really see a problem with it. If they totally rely on it to be an autonomous security force then there will be problems.

I think this is a really bad idea, for one it is taking over jobs that people could fill which will make it harder to get jobs as a gard...... maybe they will take over our lifes first computers, cellphones, now robocops.... next what no more doctors or cab drivers??? I can see the human race going down the drain.....

I can see robots as supplements to alot of what we do. In the LE view of things, what about having a bullet resistant "partner" that could lead the way into a dangerous situation better than a dog? From a military POV, what about having the 'bot that can carry extra supplies/rations, is bullet proof, and would be programmed to mention logical problems with a manuever? If we are careful, robots can become highly valuable resources in our lives, but they could never replace humans in certain capacities.
