can anyone tell me where i can find a video of the basic kyokushinkai kata? i am new to this so i do not know the name (Kihon kata, taikyoku shodan ?) i see alot of online stuff, but it is confusing, a video would be most greatful.

Don't bother
If you've just started and you're learning your first kata, it appears confusing but it's really pretty simple.
In 2 weeks you'll have got the basic directions/techniques and then you'll just practice it. You'll then be left wondering why you wanted a video of something so simple.
Don't waste your money.
