I want to take up Kyokushin Karate in the specified area... and one that practices Makiwara. Can't really find THE one i'm looking for, and its hard to visit them because i'm really busy right now but want to find one so that in a few weeks when i'm not busy I can enroll. Thanks

Hope you find your dojo. Just a note, most japanese dojo's do have a "makiwara" bolted to the wall or free standing. The makiwara is just a training tool like a heavy bag or etc. if you find a good dojo and they don't have one don't let that stop you from joining....go out and buy your own and nail it to a tree in your yard.
