Tai Knock out Kick

Recently there was a guy in my gym who had a fight in Madison Wisconsin. He won with a kick to the kidney.

I was wondering if there was anyway to train this or was it just a lucky kick.

The kidney kick is just a part of the regular kicking arsenal of stiking arts, it can be done with the rhk or hk, eve front kick of side. With rhk or hk it can happen in front of the assailant, with the other two you need a slight angle or to get his back.

The kidney kick can Ko a guy or drop him to his knees, theres a reason why most Kumite machtes its a illegal move.
It is a trained technique in my base system Goju (or most Sd systems) striking with the feet, elbow, knees and hands.
